It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of the Community/Clan.

When we started this clan back in 2010, we had an idea of what sort of Community/Clan we wanted it to be. While it should be fun, it would also need to be taken seriously and we wanted it to appear professionally. We wanted our clan to represent our community in different clan matches, and maybe even enter tournaments and competitions somewhere down the line. At the beginning, we had several ambitious members who were speaking of bringing this clan to the ESL and play against professional teams. It all started out all right, people were enthusiastic, the clan had a few practices every now and then, and a few clan matches took place. This did not last.

Already in mid 2011, the clan members were told that something needed to happen, if the clan was going to continue. Since then, there has been changes in leadership. On these occasions, these people were told that unless something happened, I, the owner, would have no choice but to close the clan. We were never interested in having an inactive clan. There is no point in that. Each time, we saw an improvement, but sadly, this improvement never lasted longer than a week or two.

Today, looking back at the recent 5 months, more or less nothing has happened. No practices or clan matches. While you have a clan match planned now, this is just not enough for us.

Based on this, we have decided to close the Community/Clan. This does not mean the clan will disappear forever, but for now, it will close. Perhaps in the future, we can give this another chance, hopefully with a better outcome.
